You Don’t Have To Face This Alone

Life can be overwhelming. When stress, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion build up, it’s easy to fall into patterns that leave us feeling disconnected, reactive, or stuck. Maybe your relationships are strained, or you’re caught in behaviors that help in the moment but cause distress over time. Maybe you’re carrying feelings that don’t quite make sense or seem hard to shake. Therapy offers the space to slow down, reflect, and create meaningful change—so you can feel lighter, stronger, and more in control.

I specialize in supporting clients across three core areas: emotional distress, unhealthy behavioral tendencies, and relationship conflict. These challenges often overlap, making life feel harder than it needs to be. I work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, low self-worth, disconnection, and difficult relational dynamics. My goal is to help you identify what’s getting in the way and develop the clarity, emotional balance, and skills to move forward.

A major focus of my work is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)—a powerful, research-supported therapy designed to help you resolve distress tied to difficult life experiences. EMDR is especially effective when you’ve tried to “move on,” but still feel emotionally triggered or stuck in certain patterns. You don’t need to relive painful memories in detail to experience relief. Many clients find that EMDR brings them a sense of emotional steadiness and freedom that talk therapy alone hasn’t achieved.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK WITH ME

I strive to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe, heard, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and responsive to your needs. I’ll offer structure when it’s helpful and space when you need to process at your own pace. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—each session is shaped around your goals, your values, and your experience. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to build something better.

SPECIALTY AREAS

I support teens and adults experiencing:

  • Emotional distress, anxiety, and overwhelm
  • Patterns of avoidance or unhealthy coping behaviors
  • Relationship challenges and communication difficulties
  • Low self-esteem or self-worth
  • Feeling stuck, unmotivated, or disconnected
  • Lingering effects of difficult or confusing life experiences

In addition to EMDR, I incorporate:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To shift unhelpful thought patterns
  • Motivational Interviewing: To clarify goals and build motivation for change
  • Solution-Focused Therapy: To identify practical steps and strengths
  • Mindfulness-Based Strategies: To support emotional regulation and awareness
